Chikmagalur, a quaint hill station in Karnataka, is famous as the birthplace of Coffee in India. As the story goes by, Sufi Saint Baba Budangiri, on his return journey from Mecca brought back 7 coffee beans (strapped to his chest) and planted in Chikmagalur mountains. Great place for nature lovers, as well as someone who is looking for adventure, things to do in Chikmagalur are trek to Mullayanagiri Peak, visit to cascading Hebbe Waterfalls (which lie in an area of coffee plantations), water sports at Yagachi dam, ancient temples of Halebidu & Belur etc. We also cover Mudigere as part of this trip, a quiet town with several mountain view points and pilgrimage sites

Another option is to reach Mysore and from Mysore it is only 150 Kms By Train: Mysore or Bangalore or Mangalore are 3 main cities which are close to Chikmagalur. One can take any train combination to reach any of these cities and then arrive Chikmagalur through road By Road: Well connected to 3 main cities Mysore or Bangalore or Mangalore, one take bus or book private cabs (or self-driven options like Zoomcar or Drivezy from city like Bangalore) and reach Chikmagalur. It will take approx. 6-7 hrs to reach from Bangalore or Mangalore and approx. 5 hrs from Mysore.

- 5:00am Leave Bengaluru - 8:00am Have breakfast on the way somewhere in Hassan Highway - Visit Halebidu temple (if possible as its on the way). Built in 1200's, Hoysaleshwara temple at Halebidu is beautiful with intricate carvings - 11:30am Reach homestay / resort with welcome drink. Keep the luggage and get ready for travel - 12:30pm Trekking to Mullayangiri peak and visit to the historic Shiva temple on top - 02:30pm Have lunch @ Tasty point - 04:00pm Sightseeing - Nature trail & hike to Jhari falls - 06:00pm Tea / coffee snacks - 08:00pm Enjoy with your friends and family with the Firecamp + Music that we have organized - 08:30pm Dinner and rest
